Where to learn how to dive in Bali?
Amed is the perfect place to learn how to dive in Bali: there are no strong currents, we don't use a boat (we enter from the shore), and the water is warm (28-29°C). This makes diving in Amed very calm and enjoyable.

The best time to dive in Bali is from April to November, during the dry season, although lately the seasons are not fixed and the rains can start later.

What is the difference between a PADI and an SSI scuba diving course?
These are different, globally recognized certification agencies. Pura Vida is affiliated with SSI, but you can take any course with our team even if you already have a certification from another agency.

What marine life is found in Bali?
Marine life in Bali: clownfish, lionfish, hawksbill turtle, blacktip reef shark, nudibranchs, harlequin shrimp, mantis shrimp, etc.

Is it possible to dive with contact lenses?
Yes, you can dive with contact lenses without any problem. During our diving courses in Bali, we'll teach you how to avoid discomfort. However, you cannot dive with goggles.
